White Pine is a volunteer organization. We rescue injured and orphaned wildlife, arrange for
veterinary care, provide proper nutrition and shelter, and prepare the animals for return to the wild. We also do
educational programs for schools, clubs and organizations to teach children and adults about wild animals,
their behavior, habitat, and the correct way to interact with the wildlife around us.
White Pine Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is the proud recipient of the 1994 Wildlife Award from Eau Claire
County Land Conservation Commission, the 1995 Earthgreen Award from the Chippewa Valley Group Sierra Club
and the 2001 West Central Wisconsin Natural Resources Award from the Department of Natural Resources.
