Mom’s prayers were answered when she was enveloped in the arms of the Lord on October 12, 2007 after a long illness. She happily joined her parents, David and Irene Griffin and her sister, Marjorie Imogene Griffin Milano for the heavenly celebration of Marjorie’s birthday November 26th. She was a gracious lady, watching out for others, including animals of every kind, to the very end. She will be missed by so many whose lives she touched.

From Marion Schlewitz in memory of my wonderful husband, Lloyd Schlewitz. We enjoyed 47 years together. Lloyd was a very caring man, always helping others in need. He devoted 18 years helping children as a crossing guard and instilled in our 2 children his love and respect for nature and all living creatures.
